Community Groundwork's December 2025 Journalism School was a jampacked weekend helping prepare and empower community college students for long and successful careers in news. The workshop marked CG's first foray into journalism programming and is now slated to be an annual event. Our incredible students spent two days working alongside news veterans and industry experts to develop key journalism skills, including newswriting, ethics, SEO, social media, video editing, visual storytelling and more. Below, you can see some of their work.
